  Our pet rats have been sneezing recently so we went to the vet to check they didn't have an infection. Charged £65 to be told they don't have equipment to give rats a proper check, but they look fine. Reception staff were lovely though so that brings their star rating up a bit. Would not use them again.

  I would not advise the use of this vet, there are most certainly more caring vets out there and definately cheaper ones too. On the bright side the reception staff have always been welcoming and friendly. I sadly can not say the same for the vets.

  Been registered with my dog at vets 4 pets for about 4 years now and since I moved house I didn't want to uproot her vets for routine things however thought if there's an emergency it would be better to have a closer vets as well. so I registered with an animal hospital closer to home however spoke to vet4pets and asked specifically if I could be registered with both which I was told was absolutely fine. Booked an appointment for my dog yesterday and double checked the appointment before I left today, when I got there was greeted by the receptionist and then left waiting for 25 minutes at which point my dog was very anxious and quite distressesed before a male vet called us into a consultation room and told me would not look at her because we registered with another vet. When I asked if he could please look at her for her sake not mine he point blank refused and his attitude was terrible. In the time he took arguing with me he could have treated her. I would like to add that one of the reasons I wanted another alternative is that whilst routine treatment is fine, the end of life care from vets4pets in the past has shown absolutely no regard for the dignity of patients or owners. I was left for 45 minutes with my dying animal suffering in the waiting room crying before I was shown in. I have seen people have to say goodbye to their beloved animals in front of a whole shop of people in the past. I WOULD NEVER BRING ANY ANIMAL TO THIS VETS IN THE FUTURE. For people that are meant to care for animals they certainly don't act like it.

  Be very Wary !!! As has been said in other reviews, the reception staff are friendly and seem to care about the animals. I think some of the treatment our dog and cat have had has been adequate BUT very expensive and some emotional blackmail to get you to have more expensive treatment. We were paying monthly for their jabs and anti flea treatment and started at another branch, now I find out having been presented with a big bill that payments to any other Vets4Pets are not recognised!!! Have felt that the practice is far more interested in money than the animals, costs double that at VH.

  Good at first, reception staff are absolutely lovely however ALL vets my two kittens have seen (3) have been grumpy and not very helpful never mind the cost of a 10 minute 'chat'. Final straw was when they tried to charge me £350-400 to X-ray my poorly girl so I picked her up and took her out of there very quickly (knowing a human private X-ray costs around £120) and a more local vets got me in the same day and asked £150 and even threw in some free flea spot ons as they could see I was stessing about it! The vets just really do not seem to care at all, like zombies, I would go to your local vets instead if I were you! Avoid this place!
